Why the Cast Matters

A tribute show’s authenticity depends on more than just note-for-note playing. It requires performers who understand the subtle performance cues, vocal phrasing, and movement that made The Rolling Stones compelling live. The cast sets the tone for the entire production:

Musical Accuracy
Lead vocals, harmonies, and instrumental tones are recreated by musicians with intimate familiarity with the original recordings and their live variations.
Stage Chemistry
Familiar hits keep crowds engaged, sing-along-ready, and emotionally connected, increasing dwell time and positive event feedback.
Reliability
A top tribute band often delivers a stadium-level experience at a fraction of the cost and logistical complexity of booking legacy artists.
Visual Impact
Stagecraft, wardrobe, and choreography reflect eras of The Rolling Stones and help transport audiences back to the scenes they love.

Core Cast Profiles

Mick Adams

as Mick Jagger

Mick Adams’s incredible voice, range, and power speak for themselves. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Mick began singing at just three years old. By the age of eight, he was the only child performing with an adult church choir. Mick studied under renowned vocal coach Ben Bollinger, whose other notable students included Karen and Richard Carpenter.

Not only is Mick Adams a remarkable lookalike of Mick Jagger, but he also delivers the same electrifying energy and stage presence in every performance. As a former lead vocalist for Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods, Mick performed for Dick Clark and toured nationwide alongside legendary acts such as Tommy James, The Turtles, The Monkees, The Association, The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Buckinghams, Herman’s Hermits, Ron Dante, The Rascals, and many more.

Mick has also shared the stage with notable artists including Spencer Davis, Rick Springfield, Johnny Rivers, Neil Sedaka, America, and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sam Moore.

In addition, Mick has recorded with Mark Kendall of Great White and Tracy G, former guitarist for Ronnie James Dio. He has also provided voice-over work for MADD TV. Mick had the honor of spending time with Mick Taylor and introducing him onstage before one of Taylor’s performances.

Throughout his career, Mick has fronted symphonies across the United States, performing the timeless music of The Rolling Stones.

Shane Hunter

as Keith Richards

Shane Hunter began his musical career as a drummer at the age of ten and played his first bar gig by fourteen. By sixteen, he had transitioned to guitar. Shortly after graduating high school, Shane set out to make a living as a musician, performing with a wide variety of cover bands touring throughout the Midwest and Texas.

By the late 1980s, Shane decided to settle in Los Angeles, where he formed a rock and roll band and performed regularly on the Sunset Strip. During that time, he caught the attention of legendary producer and engineer Andy Johns, known for recording iconic artists such as The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, and Jimi Hendrix.

Through countless hours spent with Andy Johns — the engineer behind the legendary album Exile on Main St. — Shane gained invaluable insight into the music, sound, and style of Keith Richards and the Rolling Stones. He absorbed everything from guitar tones, tunings, amplifiers, microphones, and recording techniques to the stories behind the music itself. That experience profoundly shaped Shane both as a musician and as a lifelong fan.

Shane has continued an accomplished career in the music industry, signing with Enigma Records, Capitol Records, and Zoo Records, while also owning and operating his own recording studio. Over the years, he has recorded and performed with numerous respected musicians, including Ian McLagan, Phil Chen, Michael Anthony, Chuck Wright, Steve Stevens, Walter Ino, Jani Lane, Bret Michaels, and many others.

Looking back, Shane often wondered why he had been given the rare opportunity to learn firsthand from someone who was present during some of rock and roll’s most legendary moments with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Today, as a member of Mick Adams and the Stones®, he feels it all makes perfect sense.

A.D. Adams

as Charlie Watts

A.D. Adams knows a thing or two about the Stones.

Not only has A.D. met Charlie Watts, but he also ran the monitor mix for Charlie’s 31-piece jazz band and spent extensive time discussing the art of drumming with him. Mick Taylor personally invited A.D. to attend one of his shows in Sweden, where they spent several hours backstage together. A.D. was also invited to attend a Rolling Stones soundcheck during the Steel Wheels tour.

Born in Detroit, A.D. discovered the energy of Motown and rock and roll at age five and began drumming at eight years old. In 1986, he joined Dirty Looks (Atlantic Records). Throughout his career, he has been a member of regionally and nationally recognized bands including Billion Dollar Babies featuring Michael Bruce of Alice Cooper, Beat Angels, Glass Heroes, and Crash Street Kids.

As a drummer, vocalist, songwriter, recording artist, and producer, A.D. has toured internationally, with his work appearing in music, television, and film. For the past 14 years, he has toured, written, and recorded with Louis Prima Jr. and The Witnesses. Louis Prima Jr. is the son of legendary entertainer Louis Prima.

A.D. has performed alongside an impressive list of musical legends, including Chuck Berry, Michael Bruce, Gilby Clarke, Dick Wagner, Paul Gurvitz, and Jeff Berlin. As a recording artist, he has also worked with renowned engineers and producers such as Denny Seiwell, John Nagy, Clarke Rigsby, Rat Scabies, Chris Kirkwood, Jim Ervin, and Otto D’Agnolo. Most recently, A.D. recorded percussion overdubs and backing vocals for an upcoming album by Alice Cooper.

His work can be heard on more than 30 commercial releases and featured in numerous television and film projects, including Access Hollywood Live, Desert Blues, The Punisher, Last Punk Standing, Dead in Five Heartbeats, Off the Boulevard, and productions for the NFL, NHL, and MLB. Brian Jones

as Ron Wood

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Brian Jones began his musical journey at age twelve with a borrowed guitar. Playing came naturally to him, and within just one week, he had taught himself to read music and play open chords before taking his first formal lesson.

Brian continued private lessons for five years and expanded his musical education while attending Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, where he studied music theory and jazz performance. Following graduation, he attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music from 1991–1992, further developing his skills and musical knowledge while studying alongside some of the world’s most talented musicians.

Although Brian studied jazz extensively, he always considered himself a rock guitarist at heart. After leaving Berklee, he returned to Pittsburgh and performed with several original and cover bands. In 2009, Brian relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where he entered the world of tribute bands by joining a Def Leppard tribute act that performed at festivals and casinos throughout Southern California, Las Vegas, and Texas, opening for national artists such as Warrant and Great White.

While Brian originally picked up the guitar during the heyday of 1980s hard rock and was inspired by the rise of MTV, his playing style has always leaned heavily toward blues-based guitar work. That approach made joining Mick Adams and the Stones® a natural fit, as there is perhaps no greater blues-based rock and roll band than The Rolling Stones.

Chris Martin

as Bill Wyman

Chris Martin comes from a family of musicians and began his musical journey by following in the footsteps of his two older brothers and learning guitar. In 1984, he transitioned to bass guitar and performed extensively throughout Rhode Island and New England during the 1980s and early 1990s.

Chris later stepped away from performing to pursue a successful career in software engineering, working as both a consultant and lead developer. While based in Boston, he served as lead developer for the award-winning Online Merchant platform at Stump World, contributing to major web projects for artists and organizations including Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Blue Note Records, and Phish. He also developed the TABS Booking software for ARTISTdirect, an online platform used to negotiate booking contracts for major touring acts such as Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, and Pearl Jam.

In 2001, Chris relocated to Arizona, where he continues to work in software development. More recently, he collaborated with Jordy Klein of ABKCO Records, the company that controls the rights to the Rolling Stones’ early catalog. In 2018, Chris returned to performing, joining several local bands and eventually becoming part of Mick Adams and the Stones®.

as Bill Wyman

Throughout his career, Chad has toured across the United States and internationally on four continents alongside artists including Kevin DuBrow of Quiet Riot, Jani Lane of Warrant, Gene Loves Jezebel, BulletBoys, and, on occasion, Woodstock legend Melanie.

His philosophy that “the song is king” and his belief in letting the music speak for itself make him a perfect fit for Mick Adams and the Stones®. Chad is honored to celebrate the Rolling Stones’ legendary catalog and Bill Wyman’s elegant, melodic, and often understated bass lines.

Bruce A. Wilson

Keys, Sax, and Vocals

Born in Springfield, Ohio, Bruce A. Wilson grew up in a deeply musical family. Both of his parents played saxophone in his grandfather’s dance band, and his mother regularly performed works by Chopin and Beethoven on piano. Surrounded by music from birth, Bruce began piano lessons at age five.

Throughout school, Bruce performed in both band and orchestra, playing clarinet, string bass, bassoon, trumpet, and several other instruments. He even composed and arranged music for his high school orchestra, including a concerto for kazoo. Bruce became the only student from his school to receive top honors in band, orchestra, and jazz band.

Bruce later served as lead alto saxophonist in the 74th Army Band in Indianapolis, earning recognition as a government-certified saxophonist. Following his military service, he traveled extensively as a professional musician, performing Top 40, country, disco, and rock music in clubs from Minnesota to Louisiana, West Virginia to Los Angeles, Alaska, and beyond.

Over the years, Bruce has performed with symphony orchestras at Wittenberg and Butler Universities, backed up The Coasters, opened for Otis Day and the Knights, performed with Jock Bartley of Firefall, and recorded with Lonely Rider.

Throughout his career, he has performed before audiences on more than 30 different instruments. When not performing with Mick Adams and the Stones®, Bruce plays bassoon with the East Valley Pops Orchestra and Mesa City Band, and bass clarinet with the Desert Valley Winds.

He writes and produces with Paris Toon and Mother’s Favorite Child, and records at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. Ted has appeared on several albums, including releases by Mother’s Favorite Child, Dennis Rowland, Paris Toon, Kinch, Stan Sorenson, The Trophy Husbands, Ray Riendeau, Joe Morris, Azz Izz, Jodi Light, Pete Gitlin, and more.

In 2002, he recorded an album with Joe Morris and Ray Riendeau titled Arrythmia. The groove-oriented project includes original compositions with influences ranging from jazz and funk to twelve-tone composition.
